Job Description

Role Objective:Responsible in maintaining accurate stock holding and order handling within the Local Distribution Center, and all products are to be placed safely and all customer needs are addressed accordingly.Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:Financial:• Maintain accurate stock holding and order handling within the Warehouse. • Respond to Sales team for stock requests by ensuring that the right quality and quantity is dispatched • Manage stock check discrepancy request process • Assist with reconciliation and rectification of system figures • Well skilled in working with Axapta as back office system for planning and handling deliveries, payments, customer relations and stocking.• Provide analysis of stock (current and aging report)Customer:• Ensure customer collection items are actioned immediately • Action Product Quality Query (PQQ) and Product Quality Report (PQR) matters urgently in order to make stock available for sale or taken off availability • React immediately to customer collection requests from store • Ensure a continuous high level of product knowledge including target groups, the product range and customization• Answer customers questions on product, style, size, and availability of items• Regularly refer to the brand and collection guides and catalogues for quick reference• Maintain impeccable personal presentation and communication skillsInternal Business Processes:• Maintaining regular inventory counts and keeping a record of all stored goods, action any discrepancies on imports• Orders are prepared for Warehouse Assistant at the start of the shift • All requisitions for Store replenishment and Customer Delivery Note’s are pulled in time for Warehouse staff • Manage all bin to bin transfers within the Warehouse • React immediately to customer collection requests from store • Organizing the merchandise on the warehouse shelves• Receiving and stacking of store merchandise and verifying the same with the items listed in the purchase order• Well skilled in working with Axapta as ‘Point-of-Sale’ system for entering and handling customer orders including searching for basic product and delivery information• Ensure an optimal flow of goods by keeping the stock room well organized• Report discrepancies promptly to the Warehouse Manager and Store Manager • Resolve inventory issues through investigation of data and history of purchases• Take part in year-end inventory counts as required • Redirect any issues or queries that do not fit in the incumbent’sLearning and Growth: • Remain knowledgeable of brand products, sizes, fabrics and assembling furniture• Establish areas of self development through feedback from customers and colleagues• Provide recommendations to enhance warehouse operations

Skills

• Minimum 2-3 years of retail experience either from a store or other relevant service function • Experience in selling lifestyle consumer goods in furniture and home ware
